Please note that the man who introduced me misspoke on two counts. First, he said that I teach Admirals and Generals. In fact, I typically teach Captains, Majors, and Lt. Colonels. We only occasionally have higher-ranked officers in class. Second, he said that I have published eight books. In fact, I have published five.
In the early 1990s, I authored two articles on blindness. Though I have mellowed a bit with age, as one does, my passion for justice and equal rights remains. Below are those essays, along with a more recent article about me.
